NEDIS UK - Website Terms of Business

1. All prices are nett trade exclusive of VAT.
Prices are subject to alteration without notice and should be checked when ordering.

2. Nett monthly credit terms are available subject to suitable reference.
Accounts are payable by Direct Debit on the last day of the month following date of invoice. Queries relating to the payment of the account should be notified to the accounts department by the 15th of the Month.
If payments are withheld (eg by cancellation of Direct Debit) it will result in credit facilities being suspended.

3. Quantity discounts may be available. Telephone or see the website for further details.

4. Stock Orders for General Spares and Accessories received by 5pm are generally despatched the same working day by First Class post or Courier.

5. There are minimum order thresholds under which carriage and handling is charged. Free carriage is only applicable to mainland UK. Please contact the sales desk for the current rates. Delivery to Highlands and Islands of Scotland and all other off shore UK areas will be charged a carriage surcharge for all courier/carrier despatches. A surcharge will be incurred for morning and Saturday delivery requests or for any customer specified delivery method. Non-account customers will be charged carriage and handling regardless of value of orders.

6. Orders for items not held in stock are to your special requirements and are not cancellable.

7. The right is reserved to alter the specifications and prices quoted, although every effort is made to advise customers of changes.

8. Guarantee:
Products are subject to the Manufacturer's or NEDIS UK supplier guarantees. For General Spares and Accessories this usually relates to the product being supplied in working order and of merchantable quality but generally excludes any minimum working life after fitting.
Product guarantees are from date of supply.
Should a product have been misused or, in the case of equipment, a repair attempted, the guarantee is nullified.
Unless proved to be faulty upon receipt, Test Equipment must be returned for repair. To arrange this, contact Customer Services.
No liability is accepted for consequential damage resulting from any product or if the product has been modified or is used in an application outside that recommended by NEDIS UK or the manufacturers it represents.
The following White Goods Spares cannot be accepted for return or credit; armatures, field coils, vacuum cleaner motors, electric pumps, washing machine and dishwasher timers and modules, refrigeration compressors, microwave transformers and magnetrons.

9. Returns:
If product has been supplied correctly and has been received in good condition NEDIS UK will not normally accept return for credit. If items are faulty and have to be returned, a returns number must be obtained from our Customer Services Department and must be quoted on the advice with the goods together with a description of the fault. Returns numbers are valid for a maximum period of 30 days.
NEDIS UK will not accept responsibility for Goods which, in its opinion, have been the subject of undue wear and tear, accident, misuse, improper application or neglect. NEDIS UK opinion on this is final.

10. Shortages and non-deliveries must be advised within 10 days in writing.

11. In line with the "Plugs and Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994" all Trade customers purchasing mains powered products which are supplied with a two pin euro or two pin schuko plug must fit appropriate UK 3 pin euro converters before making the items available for sale to members of the general public. Failure to do so may result in NEDIS UK no longer supplying those articles to customers who fail to comply.
